DES:dj~- 12/20/95 (056/41) <br /> <br /> o R I G I N A L 1/8/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12681 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR COST ALLOCATION RELATING TO CONSULTING <br /> ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE REDWOOD SHORES TRAFFIC <br /> IMPROVEMENTS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br /> (CITY OF SAN CARLOS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the development <br /> <br />of conceptual plans and a preliminary cost estimate for the <br />Redwood Shores Traffic Improvements Assessment District (the <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Project mutually benefits the Cities of Redwood <br />City, Belmont and San Carlos in certain respects; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed a proposed agreement <br />between the Cities of Redwood City and San Carlos pursuant to <br />which San Carlos shall pay the City of Redwood City for its <br />proportionate share of the costs of the Project, based upon <br /> <br />benefit conferred thereby to San Carlos; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Consulting <br />Engineering Services (Redwood Shores Traffic Improvements <br />Assessment District)" (form dated 12/20/95), by and between the <br />City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California and the City of San Carlos, a municipal corporation of <br />the State of California, pursuant to which San Carlos shall <br />compensate the City of Redwood City for its proportionate share <br />of the costs of the Project based upon benefits thereby conferred <br /> <br /> <br />
