DBA Valley Oil Company (Valley Oil Company) for the provision of gasoline and diesel fuel <br />in an amount not to exceed $750,000, including City Manager authority to extend the agreement forthree <br />additional consecutive one-year terms for a total not to exceed contract price of $3,000,000. <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVE <br />Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Fleet and Facilities Division of the Public Works Services Department (PWS) manages the City's fuel <br />supply system for daily usage and maintains a fuel reserve for emergency needs. The fuel supply system <br />consists of seven fuel filling stations throughout the City, providing service not only to City's operations <br />but also to outside agencies. Currently, vehicles from the Town of Atherton, Town of Woodside, and <br />Silicon Valley Clean Water are fueled through the City's supply system. <br />The City released a Notice Inviting Bids (NIB) on August 26, 2019 for the provision and delivery of gasoline <br />and diesel fuel to City facilities. This NIB was advertised in the local newspaper and on the City's website. <br />The City received five bids by the closing deadline on September 4, 2019. Full bid packages are available <br />at the City Clerk's Office.
