0 R I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> <br /> (1 1/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12671 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Service League of San Mateo County/Emergency Materiai <br /> Assistance <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County/Emergency Material Assistance is a <br />private, non-profit agency that provides motivation to adult prisoners, through programs and <br />services, to recognize their worth, and to encourage them to seek worthy goals and to behave in a <br />responsible manner; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County/Emergency Material Assistance, has <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City <br />has reviewed said request and desires to pay to Service League of San Mateo County/Emergency <br />Material Assistance a private, non-profit agency the sum of Thirteen-Thousand and No/100 <br />Dollars ($13,000) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Service League of San <br />Mateo County/Emergency Material Assistance has been presented to this council and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Service League of San Mateo County/Emergency Material Assistance a copy of which <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
