0 ~, I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12668 <br /> <br /> Reeolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Opportunities Industrialization Center West, Inc. (O.I.C.W.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Opportunities Industrialization Center West, Inc. (O.I.C.W.) is a private, <br />non-profit agency that provides comprehensive job training and job placement services to <br />emerging populations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Opportunities Industrialization Center West, Inc. (O.I.C.W.), has requested <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed <br />said request and desires to pay to Opportunities Industrialization Center West, Inc. (O.I.C.W.) a <br />private, non-profit agency the sum of Six-Thousand, Eight-Hundred and No/100 Dollars <br />($6,800) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Opportunities <br />Industrialization Center West, Inc. (O.I.C.W.) has been presented to this council and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Opportunities Industrialization Center West, Inc. (O.I.C.W.) a copy of which agreement <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
