0 R I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12666 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County is a private, non-profit agency that <br />provides Free legal assistance in civil cases to senior citizens and families with modest incomes <br />who live in Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County, has requested financial assistance for <br />use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending <br />June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />pay to Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County a private, non-profit agency the sum of Eight- <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($8,000) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Legal Aid Society of <br />San Mateo County has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County a copy of which agreement is on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
