<br />Results of November 6, 2007 Consolidated General Municipal Election Sased on
<br />County of San Mateo Chief Elections Officer Certificate and Final Official Canvass
<br />
<br />RECOMMENDATION
<br />1. Adopt a resolution reciting the facts of the Consolidated General Municipal
<br />Election held on November 6, 2007 and declaring the result and such other
<br />matters as provided by law.
<br />
<br />BACKGROUND
<br />On November 26,2007, City Council adopted Resolution 14822 declaring results of the
<br />Consolidated General Election subject to any substantial or significant factual or
<br />numerical deviation adversely affecting the election results. This office has received the
<br />Certificate of the Chief Elections Officer of the County of San Mateo, executed on
<br />November 30, 2007, which does not establish any such deviations. Changes to the
<br />Semi Official Results made by the Chief Elections Officer adds 1,375 votes for Council
<br />Member Aguirre, 1,331 votes for Council Member Sain, 1,564 votes for Council Member
<br />Pierce, and 1,438 votes for Mayor Foust, 1,735 votes for Measure D, and 1,766 votes
<br />for Measure E.
