0 R; G z N AL t2/19/95 <br /> <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12663 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Jean Weingarten Oral School for the Deaf <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jean Weingarten Oral School for the Deaf is a private, non-profit agency that <br />provides ways to optimize speech, language, and listening skills to children with hearing <br />disabilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jean Weingarten Oral School for the Deaf, has requested financial assistance <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and <br />ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to pay to Jean Weingarten Oral School for the Deaf a private, non-profit agency the sum <br />of Five Thousand and No/lO0 Dolliars ($5,000) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Jean Weingarten Oral <br />School for the Deaf has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Jean Weingarten Oral School for the Deaf a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
