0 R I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12662 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Human Investment Project, Inc. (HIP) Self-Sufficiency for <br /> Single Parents Program <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. (HIP) Self-Sufficiency for Single Parents <br />Program is a private, non-profit agency that provides affordable housing resources and <br />improves the housing conditions of persons with very Iow-incomes who live or wish to live in <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. (HIP) Self-Sufficiency for Single Parents <br />Program, has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of <br />Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to Human Investment Project, inc. <br />(HIP) Self-Sufficiency for Single Parents Program a private, non-profit agency the sum of <br />Ten-Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($10,000) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Human Investment <br />Project, Inc. (HIP) Self-Sufficiency for Single Parents Program has been presented to this <br /> <br />council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Human Investment Project, Inc. (HIP) Self-Sufficiency for Single Parents Program a <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
