0 R I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12660 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Emergency Hunger Fund <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund is a private, non-profit agency that provides <br />assistance with emergency short-term help to individuals in the community, which includes <br />food, clothing, shelter and gasoline; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, <br />1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br />Emergency Hunger Fund a private, non-profit agency the sum of Thirteen-Thousand and <br />No/100 Dollars ($13,000) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Emergency Hunger <br />Fund has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />approve the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Emergency Hunger Fund a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
