0 R I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> <br /> (11/27/95) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12657 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Center For the Independence of the Disabled <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Center For the Independence of the Disabled is a private, non-profit agency <br />that provides volunteers in money management; peer counseling, personal attendant referral; <br />and independent living skills; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Center For the Independence of the Disabled, has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said <br />request and desires to pay to Center For the Independence of the Disabled a private, non-profit <br />agency the sum of Eight Thousand and No/100 dollars ($8,000) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Center For the <br />Independence of the Disabled has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 11/27/95), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Center For the Independence of the Disabled a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
