I <br /> <br /> ~- O R I G I N A L -~ 5/6/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12744 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT FOR MODULAR <br /> BUILDINGS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") and Mobile Modular <br />Management Corporation ("Lessor") entered into a lease agreement, lease No. <br />115337, Revision #2, dated September 23, 1994, (the "Lease Agreement") <br />pursuant to which the City leases a modular building from Lessor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City and Lessor desire to extend the term and amend the <br />terms of the Lease Agreement by entering into an amendment (the "Amendment <br />to Lease") to provide for (1) the extension of the Lease Agreement to November <br />10, 1997, (2) a six (6) month option to extend the term of the Amendment to <br />Lease beyond November 10, 1997, (3) for certain work of improvements, and (4) <br />an increase in the monthly rental payments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department of the City of Redwood <br />City desires to use the modular building as offices during the construction of the <br /> <br />new Redwood City City Hall. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California, and Mobile Modular <br /> Management Corporation, entitled, "Amendment to Lease - 115337," (form dated <br /> <br /> Reso-31 1 <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 04/26/96 <br /> 05/06/96R <br /> <br /> <br />
