ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR - CITY COUNCIL <br />Keith Kadera announced the Annual Hometown Holidays event scheduled for <br />Saturday, December 1, from 10:00 a.m. through the Polar Express movie ending at <br />about 9:00 p.m. <br />M/S Hartnett/Aguirre to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances <br />by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. The <br />motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br />6.1 Section —Motions - <br />A. Parking during the Hometown Holidays event <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by motion, the suspension of parking meter rates in the Downtown area <br />on December 1, 2007. (703) MINUTE ORDER 07 -204 <br />B. Measure A Funds designated for ferry service <br />Recommendation: <br />Recommendation regarding split of Measure A funds designated for ferry services. <br />(209) MINUTE ORDER 07 -205 <br />6.2 Section — Claims and Warrants <br />A. Approve warrants dated through November 19, 2007 and usual and necessary <br />payments through December 10, 2007. (303) MINUTE ORDER 07 -206 <br />7. CITY COUNCIL RE- ORGANIZATION <br />A. Results of November 6, 2007 Consolidated General Municipal Election <br />City Clerk Howe explained the results of the election and stated that a revised <br />resolution with more recent results tallied was available at the Council dais and for <br />the audience.
