A RES4LUTION OF THE C[TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY �F RE�WOOD CfTY ADOPTING THE PENINSULA PARK PRECISE PLAN WHEREAS, on December 2, 2002, the City Council of the City of Redwood City ada�ted Ordinance No. 1130-3?5, #o permit the creation of Planned Community Districts as an additional tool to assist the City with its future planning activities; and WHEREAS, i�r compliance with California Environmental Quaiity Act regulations, on Juiy 8, 2003, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City adopted a Final Environmental Impact Report for the Marina Shores Village ("MSV") Projeet; and WHEREAS, on November 13, 2007, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City considered the "Addendum to the 2003 Environmental Impact Report for the Marina Shores Village Project" (Addendum); and WHEREAS, on November 13, 2007 the Planning Commission voted to recommend that the City Council approve the Peninsula Park Precise Plan; and WHEREAS, on November 13, 2007, the Planning Commission vated to recommend to the City Council that the rea! properties currenfly zoned as General Commercial ("CG") zoning district (properties identified as Assessor's Parce! Nos. 052- 531-420, 052-531-030, 052-531-050, 052-531-070, 052-531-100, 052-531-110 and Q52-531-12Q) be rezoned to Planned Community {P) zoning district; and WHEREAS, the City Counci! of the City of Redwood City has reviewed the recommendation of the Planning Commission as to the Pensnsula Park Precise Plan, and has considered evidence, including the Addendum, as wel! as the originally certified Fina1 Environmental Impact Report for the MSV Project, received at a duly notice public hearing re�ated thereto. NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
