DES:djk 03/28/96 (089/41) <br /> <br /> -- 0 R I C I N A L - 4/15/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12724 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF <br /> ONE (1) VEHICLE HOIST AND MODIFICATION OF EXISTING <br /> VEHICLE HOIST <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase and installation of one (1) vehicle <br />hoist and the modification of an existing vehicle hoist at the <br />Equipment Services Section of the Public Works Services <br />Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, three bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ferris Hoist and Repair, Inc. of Milpitas, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Ferris Hoist and Repair, Inc. for the sale <br />and installation of one (1) vehicle hoist and the modification of <br />an existing vehicle hoist at the Equipment Services Section of <br />the Public Works Services Department to the City of Redwood City <br />in the amount of Eighteen Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-two and <br />No/100 Dollars ($18,232.00) computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated October 27, 1995, is hereby accepted, and <br /> <br />~aid bidder i~ hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement <br />for said purchase, installation and modification. <br /> <br /> <br />
