REGIONAL APPOINTMENTS FOR <br />2008 <br />The following lists are appointments to regional associations ofcities. <br />Redwood City City Council Members are appointed to these positions by <br />the Council of Cities City Selection Committee or by the Mayor to these <br />positions, and the seat usually carries voting powers. In the past a <br />Council alternate has also been named but that will no longer bethe <br />case. If a Council Member is unable to attend the regularly scheduled <br />meeting and if possible, a replacement can fill in on their behalf it will be <br />the appointed Council Member’s responsibility to arrange their <br />replacement.
