shall be contacted immediately. Said mitigation measures shall be
implemented and monitored under conditions to construction-
related permits or other entitlements.
(i) Public Services. (i) Police Protection. The Project shall result in
an increase in calls to, and requirements for service from, the
Redwood City Police Department. The costs of said increased
services are estimated to be offset by revenues generated by taxes
and fees from the Project.
(ii) Fire Protection. No significant fire suppression impact will be
generated by the Project. Reduction of fire service calls shall be
provided through construction of improvements in compliance with
applicable building, fire, and related codes and City ordinances.
(iii) Water Supply. Potable water consumption resulting from the
Project is estimated at 110,000 to 130,000 gallons per day,
exclusive of landscape irrigation. Water supply shall be subject to
availability and, if available, said supplies shall be the subject of
future agreement or agreements with the City and/or conditions of
future entitlements. The use of well water, if available and
practicable, would reduce the demand for municipal water supply.
Costs of operation and maintenance of a water supply
infrastructure for the Project shall be provided through a
maintenance district.

DES:rg 23
Reso-25a
G:~shared",Red wood,Council
03/04/96
04/01/96R
