DES:dj~ 03/14/96 (083/41) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 3/25/96 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12714 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT FIRING <br /> RANGE CLEANING SERVICES; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for monthly cleaning of the Police Department's firing <br />range in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, four bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the <br />Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jordan Environmental, Inc. of San Leandro, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept said bid of Jordan <br /> <br />Environmental, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Jordan Environmental, Inc., for a 12-month <br />period in the total amount of Ten Thousand Four Hundred Fifty and <br />No/100 Dollars ($10,450.00), computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated March 3, 1996, for monthly cleaning of <br />the Police Department's firing range in the City of Redwood City, <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Proposal and <br />Contract", dated March 6, 1996, by and between the City of <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br />and Jordan Environmental, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on <br /> <br /> <br />
