-- 0 R I G I N A L ~r18/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12712 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF COMMITMENT TO THI= REDWOOD CITY ~000 <br /> PARTNERSHIP AND APPROVAL OF THE COMMUNITY STRATEGIC <br /> PLANNING AND STAKEHOLDER SELECTION PROCESS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, the Redwood City School District, the <br />Sequoia Union High School District, and the County of San Mateo have expressed their <br />commitment to the development of partnerships via their participation in such activities <br />as the South County Coalition for Substance Abuse Prevention, the Healthy Start <br />Project at Taft School, and the Sequoia High School Partnership; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, the 'Redwood City School District, the <br />Sequoia Union High School District, and the County of San Mateo agreed to further <br />strengthen these partnerships and improve their overall ability to focus combined <br />resources on agreed upon outcomes by creating the Redwood City 2000 Coordinating <br />Committee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City 2000 Coordinating Committee will, at a later date <br />present the City Hall with a recommended process for the development of a Community <br />Strategic Plan which would help identify a vision for a healthier Redwood City and the <br />priority areas for action to meet this vision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City 2000 Coordinating Committee will, at a later date <br />present the City Hall with a recommended process for the selection of a stakeholder <br />group that is representative of the diversity of Redwood City as identified in the <br />community planning process; <br /> <br /> <br />
