WHERE STATEMENTS MUST BE FILED <br /> (AT THE LOCAL LEVEL) <br /> <br />STATEMENT OF ORGANIZATION (RECIPIENT COMMITTEES) <br /> <br /> A Statement of Organization. (Form 410) must be filed with the Secretary of State's <br /> Political Reform Division by all recipient committees which raise $1,000 or more in a <br /> calendar year to influence California's state and/or local elections. <br /> <br />TERMINATION OF ACTIVE STATUS <br /> <br /> A Statement of Organization (Form 410) must be filed by recipient committees in order <br /> to terminate their ongoing filing obligations. The original must be filed with the Secretary <br /> of State's Political Reform Division. A copy must be filed with each filing officer who <br /> received a copy of the committee's last campaign statement. <br /> <br />CAMPAIGN STATEMENTS FOR CITY ELECTIONS <br /> Elected city officials, candidates for city office, their controlled committees, and <br /> committees primarily formed to support or oppose such candidates, officers or ballot ' <br /> measures being voted upon within one City, city slate mailer organizations, and city <br /> general purpose committees must file the original and one copy with the City <br /> Clerk/electi°ns official. <br /> <br />CAMPAIGN STATEMENTS FOR COUNTY ELECTIONS <br /> Elected county officials, municipal court judges, candidates for such offices, their <br /> controlled committees, and committees primarily formed to support or oppose such <br /> candidates, officers or ballot measures being voted upon within a single county, county <br /> slate mailer organizations, and county general purpose committees must file the original <br /> and one copy with the County Clerk/ elections official and two copies with the <br /> clerk/elections official in the flier's county of domicile.* <br /> <br />CAMPAIGN STATEMENTS FOR MULTI-COUNTY ELECTIONS <br /> Elected officials in jurisdictions other than legislative, Board of Equalization, or Appellate <br /> Court districts which contain parts of two or more counties, candidates for such offices, <br /> their controlled committees, and committees primarily formed to support or oppose such <br /> candidates, officers or ballot measures being voted upon in multi-county elections must <br /> file the original and one copy with the clerk/elections official of the county with the largest <br /> number of registered voters in the jurisdiction and two copies with the clerk/elections <br /> official in the flier's county of domicile.* <br /> <br /> · A committee is domiciled at the address listed on its campaign statement. If the committee is <br /> domiciled outside of California, then Los Angele9 shall be considered the county of <br /> domicile.
