DES:d~~ 01/26/96 (065/41) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 2/26/96 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12701 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES - <br /> WATER RESERVOIR DEMOLITION AND REHABILITATION PROJECT <br /> <br /> (KENNEDY/JENKS CONSULTANTS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the demolition <br />and rehabilitation of water reservoirs (storage tanks) in various <br />locations throughout the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood <br />City requires professional engineering services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants of Palo Alto, California <br />represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and <br />expertise to perform the aforesaid services required for the <br />Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Professional <br />Engineering Services Water Reservoir Demolition and <br />Rehabilitation" (form dated 01/26/96), by and between the City of <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br />and Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, for the performance of the <br />above-mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br />made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the <br />City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
