DES:djk ~9~11/95 (048/41) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 12/19/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12650 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF <br /> FLAP GATES AT THE PRICE TRACT PUMP STATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase and installation of two 24" flap gates <br />and one 16" flap gate in the discharge well of the Price Tract <br />Pump Station; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Power Engineering Contractors, Inc. of Palo Alto, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> <br />Power Engineering Contractors, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Power Engineering Contractors, Inc. for the <br />sale and installation of two 24" and one 16" flap gates at the <br />Price Tract Pump Station to the City of Redwood City in the <br />amount of Fifteen Thousand Four Hundred Ninety and No/100 Dollars <br />($15,490.00) in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated <br />September 28, 1995, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response to <br />solicitation for bids without advertisement for said purchase and <br />installation. <br /> <br /> <br />
