DES:dj' ~ 1/30/95 (043/41) <br /> ~2/11/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12649 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS, ORDERING THE FORMATION <br /> OF REDWOOD SHORES LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. <br /> 1995-1, ORDERING THAT THE ALTERNATIVE METHOD FOR THE <br /> LEVY OF BENEFIT ASSESSMENTS BE MADE APPLICABLE THERETO, <br /> APPROVING, CONFIRMING AND ADOPTING CITY MANAGER'S <br /> REPORT PERTAINING THERETO, AND ORDERING SPECIAL BENEFIT <br /> ASSESSMENT TO BE LEVIED AND COLLECTED WITHIN SAID <br /> DISTRICT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-97 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby finds and determines that: <br /> <br /> (a) Pursuant to the provisions of Article XII (commencing <br /> with §18.80) of Chapter 18 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br /> Redwood, as amended, the City of Redwood City <br /> Maintenance District Ordinance (hereinafter, the <br /> "Ordinance") this Council did, on November 6, 1995, <br /> adopt Resolution No. 12628 entitled, "Resolution of <br /> Intention to Form the Redwood Shores Landscape <br /> Maintenance District No. 1995-1 and to Provide For the <br /> Use of the Alternative Method For the Levy of Benefit <br /> Assessments"; <br /> <br /> (b) Pursuant to said Resolution, this Council declared its <br /> intent to order the formation of a maintenance district <br /> in a portion of the City of Redwood City to be <br /> designated, "Redwood Shores Landscape Maintenance <br /> District No. 1995-1" (the "District") which is depicted <br /> on that certain map attached hereto, marked Exhibit <br /> "A-l" and the boundaries of which are more particularly <br /> <br /> <br />
