Al1 planted areas will require irrigation, pehodic applications of <br />fer~li~ers and soil conditioners, periodic applications of wood chips 2" - 4" in <br />depth to prevent weed growth and retain soil moisture, periodic pest control <br />and weed maintenance, and periodic plant replacement due to disease, pest <br />damage and loss stemming from natural causes, vandalism and pedestrian <br />and bicycle traffic_ <br /> <br /> Trail maintenance will include trash pick up and sweeping as needed. <br />Periodic trail and sign replacement or repair will also be needed depending on <br />traffic and other factors that may cause periodic damage. <br /> <br /> Daily maintenance will include litter pick-up, emptying of trash <br />receptacles and removal and disposal of debris. <br /> <br /> Consumable supplies will include water,'.fer~llxer, pesticides and <br />herbicides, annual and bi-annual plant replacement according to season, <br />shrub and tree replacement as needed, soil additives, occasional pipe and <br />irrigation system repair or replacement, trash receptacle liners, allocable <br />amortization of landscape maintenance equipment used in Redwood Shores <br />and fuel. . - <br /> <br />Area 6 (as shown on the attached map) <br /> <br /> Area 6 comprises approximately .49 acres of State land adjacent to Area <br />5 and Area 13. This area will entail no landscaping, but will require periodic <br />trash removal and disposal. <br /> <br />A.rea 7 (as shown on the attached map) <br /> <br /> Area 7 comprises those areas designated as The Green and the SBSA <br />Buffer in the Lido Neighborhood Specific Plan. It will include include <br />approximately 7.57 acres, including turf, native landscaping, peripheral <br />planting, a perimeter trail, sandbox and associated play areas, appropriate <br />signs, a picnic table area with a drinking fountain and public restrooms and <br />earth berming. Peripheral planting will include shrubs and trees requiring <br />periodic pruning, fer~Ii~er applications and pest control Peripheral planting <br />will also include annual and bi-annual vegetation requiring seasonal <br />replacement, periodic pruning, pest control, weed control and fer~li~er <br />applications. Turf area will require weekly cutting and edging, periodic <br />applications of ferfflizers and periodic soft aeration. All planted areas will be <br />irrigated with automated irrigation. All signs, the play area, picnic area, and <br />public restroorns will require periodic repair and maintenance due to normal <br />wear and tear and vandalism. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
