6.H. - Page 1 of 47 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: November 25, 2019 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Approval of three separate agreements for on-call planning services with Gensler, Metropolitan Planning <br />Group and Urban Planning Partners, Inc., and authorization to apply for and receive S132 Planning Grant <br />Program Funds <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute three on-call planning services <br />agreements, each for $300,000 (for a total of $900,000), with the following entities: Gensler, <br />Metropolitan Planning Group, and Urban Planning Partners; and <br />Adopt a resolution authorizing application for, and receipt of, $320,000 in S132 Planning Grants <br />Program Funds from the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development. <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVE <br />Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />In July 2019, the City issued a request for proposals (RFP) for on-call planning services that was advertised <br />on the City's website.
