6.H. - Page 3 of 47 <br />Planning Cost Recovery Fund. Additionally, due to staff turnover there is funding associated with vacant <br />positions available in the Division's operating budget. If the City Council approves the agreements, staff <br />will recommend necessary budget transfers in February 2020 as part of the mid -year budget amendments. <br />The aggregate cost of the three contracts is $900,000. Each contract has a not -to -exceed amount of <br />$300,000. Staff estimates that at least 60% of total expenditures will be fully cost -recoverable through <br />development applications. <br />The total amount of the S132 funding grant is $320,000. There is no cost associated with receiving the <br />grant. The grant is non-competitive and awarded for eligible initiatives that will help streamline future <br />housing project approvals and accelerate the production of housing.
