6.B. - Page 1 of 27 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: November 25, 2019 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Final Acceptance of construction improvements for 1305 EI Camino Real development project <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, accept the construction improvements for 1305 EI Camino Real, and authorize the release of <br />the bonds in accordance with the subdivision improvement agreement. <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVE <br />Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />On March 14, 2016, the City Council approved the Improvement Agreement for the 1305 EI Camino Real <br />("Greystar III") development which consisted of the creation of a seven -story, 137 for -rent apartment <br />development. The Construction Permit, approved and issued by the City, required the developer to make <br />on-site and off-site improvements. Improvements include but are not limited to, grading and drainage, <br />paving, water fire protection, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, intersection improvements, and joint trench <br />utility services. The total amount of improvements completed is estimated at $1,205,547. <br />During the construction of the development the on-site stormwater treatment system was modified to <br />address unforeseen conditions discovered during the construction activities. The project requested <br />approval for the modifications to the on-site drainage system that was previously approved.
