11/25/2019 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15802 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING AND ADOPTING REVISED ENGINEERING <br />STANDARDS FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND <br />RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 15353 <br />WHEREAS, on June 23, 2014, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 15353 <br />approving those certain documents entitled, "Standard Technical Specifications ", <br />"City Standard Details ", and "Design Criteria ", , collectively described as "Engineering <br />Standards for the City of Redwood City;" and <br />WHEREAS, the Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood City have <br />been revised by staff in order to meet current City and State Codes and to contain the <br />latest technologies in materials and methods of construction of public works projects; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, revisions to the Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood <br />City are summarized in Exhibit A - Engineering Standards Summary of <br />Revisions — November 4, 2019. A complete digital edition of the three volumes is <br />available for review at the City Clerk's office. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The revised Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood City dated <br />November 4, 2019, and on file with the City's Office of Engineering and <br />Transportation, are hereby approved and adopted as the minimum standard <br />specifications for the construction of public works improvements in the City of <br />Redwood City; provided, however, that nothing herein contained shall be deemed to <br />ATTY /RESO.0102 /CC RESO APPROVING & ADOPTING REVISED ENGIEERING STANDARDS RESO.
