<br />MENLO PARK FIRE DISTRICT <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />A. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />1. RWC, to the best of its ability, will assist MPFD in developing specifications, configuring, <br />standardizing, optimizing, and troubleshooting the following: <br />a. Devices used for Local Area Networking (LAN). <br />b. Devices used Wide Area Networking (WAN). <br />c. File, print, and other application servers. <br />d. Spam and Firewall software, appliances, and devices. <br />e. Backup software, devices, and strategies. <br />2. RWC will assist MPFD in identifying and documenting their current network (LAN and WAN) <br />architecture, and if need be, assist in developing a stable, maintainable, standard network <br />architecture. <br />3. Requests for support can be initiated using one of the following three methods: <br /> <br />a. Logging into RWC's online help desk system at <br />http://thecitV.redwoodcitV.ora:8080/hd/index.htx. <br /> <br />b. Calling or emailing the primary Analyst assigned to MPFD. <br /> <br />c. Calling RWC help desk at (650) 780-7093 <br /> <br />4. Support services under this agreement do not include general helpdesk desktop type <br />support services, including vacation and sick leave coverage. <br /> <br />B. COMPENSATION <br /> <br />1. MPFD agrees to compensate RWC for Information Technology services. Direct external <br />costs such as external contractors and equipment purchases on behalf of MPFD are borne <br />by MPFD. Information Technology services costs include those expenses necessary to <br />administer this Agreement. RWC will provide these services for an hourly rate $123.69 <br />during fiscal year 2007-2008 (July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008). The hourly rate will be <br /> <br />4 <br />
