Agreement with Renne Public Law Group dba Renne Public Policy Group to <br />provide State Legislative Advocacy and Consulting Services to the City <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a one-year <br />services agreement with Renne Public Law Group dba Renne Public Policy <br />Group in an amount not to exceed $72,000, including City Manager authority to <br />extend the agreement for one additional, consecutive one-year term, for an <br />aggregate not to exceed amount of $144,000. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />S.E. Waive first reading and introduce Ordinance Adding Article X to Chapter 2 of <br />the Municipal Code expanding authorization for contract execution <br />Recommendation: <br />Waive first reading and introduce ordinance adding Article X to Chapter 2 of the <br />Municipal Code, authorizing the City Manager, their designee, and any other <br />City official authorized by ordinance or resolution adopted by the City Council, <br />to execute contracts. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />S.F. Acceptance of the budget increase for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Award <br />from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California <br />Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) for the Peninsula 2 Potable <br />Water Tank Seismic Improvement Project, which will enhance the water <br />supply for drinking water and fire suppression <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution: <br />1. Accepting the increased Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Grant Award <br />(HMGP-4308-228-012R) budget amount of $972,017.00 from the original <br />amount of $718,945.50 granted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />(FEMA) and the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES); <br />and authorizing the City Manager to execute any required grant agreement and <br />related contract documents, and provide all necessary documentation; and <br />2. Approving an appropriation amendment to Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Water Fund <br />Capital Projects budget to increase revenues by $253,071.50 and to increase <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
