City of Redwood City, <br />et al., San Mateo County Superior Court Case No. 19CIV00360 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve settlement as memorialized in the General and Special Release in Cornell v. City of <br />Redwood City, et al., San Mateo County Superior Court Case No. 19CIV00360. <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVE <br />Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />This is a lawsuit by Linda Cornell against the City of Redwood City arising out of a trip and fall which <br />allegedly occurred on or about February 25, 2018 at or near 1234 Hudson Street. The parties reached a <br />global settlement, whereby the City would pay $75,000 in full and final settlement of all claims.
