EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Based on the proposal dated August 28, 2019, the Consultant will perform geotechnical testing and observation, special inspections, and engineering services to support the construction of the Red Morton Park - Magical Bridge Playground project in Redwood City, California. Based on discussion with the project general contractor, Bothman Construction ("Bothman"), remaining construction will extend until February 2020, weather permitting. Consultant testing and observation services are required to confirm Bothman's work is performed in conformance with project specifications. The remaining construction support services include the following: " Reinforcing steel inspections of remaining footings, piers, and stem walls. • Concrete pour observations, samples preparation, transportation and laboratory testing of remaining footings and stem walls. " Foundation footing subgrade compaction testing and observation. • Wall backfill compaction testing and observation. • Grading compaction testing and observation. " Utility trench backfill testing and observation. " Preparation of final conformance report summarizing our testing and observation for the project. The above -listed services will require various site visits. Consultant's visits will occur as summarized in Table 1. The fee table provided below corresponds to the tasks listed in Table 1. The tasks will occur during regular business hours. Weekend and overtime work is not anticipated.
