INTRODUCTION <br />The City of Redwood City, California Fleet section, in accordance with Redwood City's <br />Purchasing Policy, is providing this Notice Inviting Bids Sealed Bids to prospective Bidders for <br />the purchase of vehicle(s) more particularly described in this document. All Redwood City new <br />vehicle dealers, in addition to dealers outside the local area who have requested to be placed on <br />the Bidders list, have been provided this Notice Inviting Bids. Your participation in the Redwood <br />City competitive bidding process is encouraged and appreciated <br />2. DEFINITIONS <br />The following definitions apply to this Notice Inviting Bids Sealed Bids. <br />a. In these specifications, the word "City" refers to the City of Redwood City, <br />California. <br />b. The term "Notice Inviting Bids" or "Document" refers to this Notice Inviting <br />Bids. <br />c. The term "Bidder", "Supplier" or "Vendor" refers to the person, firm or <br />corporation with whom the contract is being made by the City, or the agent or <br />legal representative who may be appointed to represent such party, firm or <br />corporation in the execution of this contract. <br />d. The term "Bid Submission" refer to the document submitted by the Bidder before <br />the Bid Submission Due Date. <br />e, The term "Successful Bidder" refers to the dealership or vendor that is selected by <br />the City through this Notice Inviting Bid process, to supply the vehicle(s) <br />specified in this document. <br />3.
