6.K. - Page 3 of 4 <br />Recommendation: <br />Waive first reading and introduce ordinance adding Article X to Chapter 2 of the <br />Municipal Code, authorizing the City Manager, their designee, and any other <br />City official authorized by ordinance or resolution adopted by the City Council, <br />to execute contracts. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />5.F. Acceptance of the budget increase for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Award <br />from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California <br />Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) for the Peninsula 2 Potable <br />Water Tank Seismic Improvement Project, which will enhance the water <br />supply for drinking water and fire suppression (505) Reso (0114) 15806 <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution: <br />1. Accepting the increased Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Grant Award <br />(HMGP-4308-228-012R) budget amount of $972,017.00 from the original <br />amount of $718,945.50 granted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />(FEMA) and the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES); <br />and authorizing the City Manager to execute any required grant agreement and <br />related contract documents, and provide all necessary documentation; and <br />2. Approving an appropriation amendment to Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Water Fund <br />Capital Projects budget to increase revenues by $253,071.50 and to increase <br />expenditures by $337,428.67 for the grant acceptance and project <br />implementation, respectively; and transferring $84,357.17 of fund reserves <br />from the Water Enterprise Fund to the Water Fund Capital Projects budget for <br />the Peninsula 2 Potable Water Tank Seismic Improvement Project. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />5.G.
