Approval of the request to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission <br />(MTC) for allocation of Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 <br />Pedestrian and Bicycle Project funding <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution requesting that the Metropolitan Transportation <br />Commission (MTC) allocate Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 <br />Pedestrian/Bicycle Project funding for two Redwood City projects: the Citywide <br />Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan and the Vera Avenue Bicycle Boulevard <br />Project; and <br />2. By motion, authorize the City Manager to execute related grant and project <br />documents, accept funds, and allocate local funding to supplement the project <br />budget for the Citywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan and the Vera <br />Avenue Bicycle Boulevard Project. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.1. Adoption of ordinance adding Article X to Chapter 2 of the Municipal Code <br />expanding authorization for contract execution <br />Recommendation: <br />Waive second reading and adopt the ordinance adding Article X to Chapter 2 of <br />the Municipal Code authorizing the City Manager, their designee, and any other <br />City official authorized by ordinance or resolution adopted by the City Council, <br />to execute contracts. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.J. Loan funding commitment for a 125 Multi -family Unit Affordable Housing <br />Project located at 353 Main Street <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve a loan commitment in the amount not to exceed $3.5 <br />million in specified affordable housing funds to 353 Main Street Apartments, <br />L.P., for the construction of a new 100% affordable, 125 -unit apartment building <br />located at 353 Main Street. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Page 4 of 7 <br />
