The San Francisco Bay Area average daily VMT is 14.4 miles per <br />resident. The average VMT for residents within the different transportation analysis zones (TAZ) for the <br />proposed rezoning is lower than the regional average. It is likely that per -capita VMT for residents in <br />these zones of Redwood City is lower than the regional average because of the proximity to jobs and <br />frequent transit service. <br />Page 1 16 <br />
