<br />I, and on behalf of all the residents/petitioners appreciate your attention to this matter and the follow up
<br />here today ensuring that the prep noise will be controlled and managed at a level we can live with during
<br />the Area H construction and development time period. I will continue to show interest in the on-going
<br />project plan progess (and of course enforcement of the agreed upon project plan activities). The
<br />interactions I have witnessed to date have been very productive and encouraging.

<br />The City is in receipt of your e-mail regarding the pre 7 AM "prep" noise issue for the Area H
<br />project. Even though construction activity is prohibited prior to 7 AM, you are still concerned
<br />about the truck traffic vibration. engine start up, reverse beeping, and other noises that occur
<br />prior to 7 AM. According to our noise ordinance, during the hours of 8:00 PM to 7 AMJ}Q noise
<br />above the local ambient level in Residentail Districsts shall be generated by construction work
<br />or activites within 500 feet of any residential neighborhood property line.
<br />
<br />Because this is an important concern, the City will make sure that no desruptive pre noise
<br />occurs due to construction activity start up prior to 7 AM. If the project is approved by City
<br />Council 1 staff will be sure to include a condition of approval in the Planned Community Permit
<br />that willlimitJ~ny- construction noise to only 7 AM - 8 PM. (Assuming Counicl approve, the
<br />Permit will be issued in several months). This prohibited noise will also include the prep noise
<br />that can also be disruptive. Please contact me if you have any questions.
