Currently, 57 existing, individual customer sites have been
identified as eligible to use recycled water for landscape irrigation and/or industrial uses. The
Project consists of providing comprehensive customer coordination, pre-design fieldwork,
preliminary and final design, regulatory approval coordination, construction management, cross-
connection control certification, final conversion of existing potable water customers to recycled
water service and customer site supervisor training.

The customers for the Project are all located on the east side of Bayshore Highway 101 in the
Redwood Shores, Bay Front and Seaport Industrial areas as shown on Figure 1 - Proposed Phase
One Recvcled Water Customers (attached). Each customer is identified by a site number, name
and use classification. The only classifications that are eligible under this scope of services
include Industrial, Commercial LandscapelMixed Use, City-Owned Landscapes,
ResidentiallHomeowner Association (HOA) Landscapes, and CalTrans Landscape types. Table
1 summarizes the number of customers in each classification that are eligible under Phase I, and
the portion of these customers that will be addressed by this scope of services.

Table 1: Scope of Services Customer List

! The
actual demand will vary depending upon which customers elect to be served, the size of the
actual irrigation use areas (or industrial use), and on weather variations.

General Assumptions

The overall approach to this work builds upon previous customer retrofit work performed by this
team in the bay area and scoping discussions with the City.
