2/12/01 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14142 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF OFFICE WORKSTATION <br />COMPONENTS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, this Council <br />has suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City relating to competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works Services requires various office <br />workstation components as manufactured by Herman Miller; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase of said office <br />workstation components in an amount not to exceed Seventeen Thousand Three <br />Hundred Sixty and 75/100 Dollars ($17,360.75); <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council hereby approves the purchase of various office workstation <br />components from Pivot Interiors of San Jose, California in an amount not to exceed <br />Seventeen Thousand Three Hundred Sixty and 75/100 Dollars ($17,360.75). <br />2.
