Adopt a resolution designating 1633 Hopkins Avenue a Redwood City Historic <br />Landmark and authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute a Historic <br />Preservation Agreement; and <br />2. Adopt a resolution designating 1800 Whipple Avenue a Redwood City Historic <br />Landmark and authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute a Historic <br />Preservation Agreement. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 31. Historical resource restoration/rehabilitation <br />Motion and second, Borgens and Reddy, to adopt: 1. Resolution designating <br />1633 Hopkins Avenue a Redwood City Historic Landmark and authorizing the <br />City Manager or designee to execute a Historic Preservation Agreement; and <br />2. Resolution designating 1800 Whipple Avenue a Redwood City Historic <br />Landmark and authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute a Historic <br />Preservation Agreement. The motion passes 6-0 by electronic vote. Mayor <br />Howard was absent. <br />7.13. Redwood City Historic Landmark Designation and a Historic Preservation <br />Agreement (Mills Act Contract) for the property located at 891 Edgewood <br />Road (612) Reso (0118) 15812 <br />Council Member Aguirre has a conflict of interest that her residence is within <br />proximity of the subject address and is recused from participating in this item. <br />Council Member Aguirre left the dais for the duration of this item. <br />Community Development and Transportation Director Mark Muenzer made a <br />presentation. <br />Vice Mayor Masur opened the Public Hearing. There was no public comment. <br />Motion and second, Hale and Borgens, to close the Public Hearing passes 5-0-1 <br />by voice vote with Council Member Aguirre recused and Mayor Howard <br />absent. <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution designating the residence at 891 Edgewood Road a Redwood <br />City Historic Landmark and authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute <br />a Historic Preservation Agreement. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 31.
