Proposed City ordinance regarding safe storage of firearms in residences <br />(305) MO 19-238 <br />Chief of Police Dan Mulholland made a presentation. <br />Public Comment: <br />• Sofia Bresson <br />• Kert Holubar <br />• David Pollack <br />Recommendation: <br />Waive first reading and introduce an ordinance adding a new Chapter 37A to <br />the Redwood City Municipal Code entitled "Safe Storage of Firearms in a <br />Residence." <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Motion and second, Bain and Brogens, to waive first reading and introduce an <br />ordinance adding a new Chapter 37A to the Redwood City Municipal Code <br />entitled "Safe Storage of Firearms in a Residence" with a friendly amendment <br />by Vice Mayor Masur to remove the misdemeanor provision under section <br />37a(4).
