Key milestones since then <br />include: <br />■ 2010: General Plan discusses a streetcar network using <br />the Broadway, Middlefield and Seaport corridors <br />(see Figure 1) <br />■ 2013: Stanford in Redwood City Precise Plan <br />references a streetcar line in the median of Broadway <br />and the project could provide funding for a streetcar as <br />a community benefit <br />■ 2016: The City obtains a Caltrans grant to study the <br />feasibility of a streetcar/urban circulator in the <br />Broadway corridor <br />Goals <br />The primary goal of the Streetcar/Circulator Plan is to <br />connect major employment hubs and surrounding <br />neighborhoods to the Downtown and Transit Center, taking <br />advantage of exciting new developments in the Broadway <br />corridor by furthering City's ability to add jobs and housing <br />through improved accessibility and mobility of employees, <br />visitors and residents, resulting in: <br />Page 2 <br />581 <br />
