8.B. - Page 70 of 70 <br />Redwood City Broadway Streetcar/Urban Circulator Study <br />Summary Report <br />Next Steps <br />■ The first step would be to use this feasibility study as a <br />vehicle to gauge the level of interest at the local, <br />county, and regional levels for the project. <br />■ This would involve continuing the discussions with the <br />public and private stakeholders that have participated <br />in this study, and taking steps to identify and secure <br />funding for the project. <br />■ Discussions should be held with the SMCTA, MTC and <br />Caltrans to determine their level of interest and <br />support and their requirements for funding. <br />■ When a decision has been made to continue with the <br />project, the next step would be to conduct the <br />necessary environmental and preliminary design <br />studies. <br />Smith <br />Page 34 <br />613 <br />
