DES:djk /11/95 (030/41) <br /> ~0RIGINAL <br /> 10/30/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12624 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A <br /> COMPONENT TO REPAIR THE PUMP AT THE PRICE TRACT PUMP <br /> STATION AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, <br />this Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br />Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to <br />competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Services Department requires the <br />purchase and installation of the bowl assembly of the pump at the <br />Price Tract Pump Station; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase and <br />installation of said component in an amount not to exceed <br />Thirteen Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-nine and No/100 Dollars <br />($13,379.00); <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby approves the purchase and <br />installation of a bowl assembly component to repair the pump at <br />the Price Tract Pump Station in the City of Redwood City from <br />Pump Repair Service Co. of San Francisco, California in an amount <br />not to exceed Thirteen Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-nine and <br />No/100 Dollars ($13,379.00). <br /> <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all documents required in connection with the purchase <br />and installation authorized herein (in form approved by the City <br />Attorney) for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
