Exhibit "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Task 1: Consultant will complete final design and documentation for the Makerspace exterior wall graphics. Flat -rate fee for Task 1 will be Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000). Task 2: Consultant will complete additional design work and documentation for non - gender restrooms and parking lots for ADA accessibility. Flat -rate fee for Task 2 will be Four Thousand Dollars ($4000). Task 3: Consultant will complete the following construction management services: • Assistance during the bid process including attendance at the pre-bid meeting, providing responses to contractor questions and preparation of addenda, upon the direction of the Library Director. • Attendance at one pre -construction meeting. • Attendance at weekly on-site Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings. Consultant will attend 6 weekly meetings following the initial pre -construction meeting. Should the schedule extend beyond this time, Consultant will submit an additional request for fees to cover the extension. Such fees will only be authorized by a written amendment to this Agreement. • Reviewing and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) and other contractor questions, including soliciting necessary input from consulting engineers for mechanical and electrical questions. • Preparing Architect's Supplemental Instructions (ASIs) to clarify issues not raised in the RFI's but requiring additional information. • Reviewing contractor submittals for design intent. • Reviewing contractor schedule of values and monthly pay request and providing comments to the city's construction manager. • Visiting the site with the construction manager to prepare a punch list of items to be corrected or completed. • Assisting in the project close-out process. Flat -rate fee for Task 3 will be Twenty Two Thousand Dollars ($22,000). Consultant will be paid upon the completion of each of the three tasks pursuant to invoicing compliant with Section 6, Compensation.
