Joint Study Session with the City Council and Planning Commission on new <br />Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) State laws discussion on the required zoning <br />code amendments for the City's ADU ordinance to comply with State law and <br />other potential updates (including ADU types allowed, side and rear setbacks, <br />height for detached ADUs, etc.). No action will be taken at the study session; a <br />staff recommendation for a new ADU ordinance will be presented at a future <br />meeting <br />Recommendation: <br />Hold joint session to provide an overview of new State law requirements and <br />obtain feedback on proposed amendments to the City's ADU Ordinance to <br />comply with State law. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />4.
