DES:djk %/14/95 (023/41) <br /> ~0 R I G I N A L 9/25/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12608 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> WATER RESERVOIR REHABILITATION PROJECT <br /> <br /> (KENNEDY/JENKS CONSULTANTS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the <br />rehabilitation of water reservoirs (storage tanks) in various <br />locations throughout the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood <br />City requires professional engineering services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants of Palo Alto, California <br />represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and <br />expertise to perform the aforesaid services required for the <br />Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement Professional <br />Engineering Services - Water Reservoir Rehabilitation" (form <br />dated 09/14/95), by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California and <br />Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, for the performance of the <br />above-mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br />made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the <br />City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
