Scope of Responsibilities <br />1 monitor changing social needs within the connunity and <br />make recommendations for improved, changed and/or new <br />services, <br />2 promote community awareness of social problems existing <br />within Redwood City, <br />3. coordinate human service activities within the community <br />through. <br />a. review and recommendation on requests for Revenue Sharing <br />funds, <br />b review and recommendation on CETA proposals <br />4 promote adequate housing for all persons, <br />5 advocate housing selection by location, type, price, and <br />tenure, and a free choice of housing for all citizens, and <br />6 monitor and recommend changes, when necessary, in the <br />Housing Element and the Human Services Element of the <br />General Plan <br />Membership consists of <br />City Council 2 <br />Planning Commission 2 <br />Park and Recreation Commission 1 <br />Cultural Commission 1 <br />Library Board 1 <br />Fair Oaks C C.
