6.C. Master Purchase Agreement for Goods, Commodities, and Services with L.N. <br />Curtis and Sons <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, find that strict compliance with Chapter 2, Article VII of the <br />Redwood City Code does not serve the public interest for the Master Purchase <br />Agreement with L.N. Curtis and Sons, and suspend the competitive bidding <br />requirements for the Master Purchase Agreement (requires 5/7 vote for <br />passage); and <br />2. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a five year <br />Master Purchase Agreement with L.N. Curtis and Sons in not to exceed amount <br />of $1,000,000. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.D. Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Design Services Agreement with ELS <br />Architecture and Urban Design for Phase I construction administration <br />services for the Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center -YMCA Project and <br />related traffic calming solutions <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. <br />1 to the Professional Design Services Agreement with ELS Architecture and <br />Urban Design for construction administration services for Phase I of the <br />Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center -YMCA Project in the amount of <br />$3,228.022, for a total contract amount of $8,347,661. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.E. Residential and commercial water meter purchase agreements <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a two-year <br />purchase agreement for water meters from Golden State Flow Measurement in <br />the amount of $500,000, and authorize the City Manager to extend the <br />agreements for two additional two-year terms for a total not -to -exceed amount <br />of $1,545,450; and <br />2. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a separate <br />two-year purchase agreement for water meters from Badger Meter in the <br />amount of $500,000, and authorize the City Manager to xtend the agreement <br />for two additional two-year terms in amounts not -to -exceed $1,545,450. <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />3 <br />
