8.A. - Page 72 of 72 <br />AESTHETICS <br />Supporting a safe and clean environment. <br />GOALS <br />UPDATE <br />Launch a Healthy Streets Initiative to support trash removal and cleaning of <br />Complete; Public Works Services conducted a number of homeless <br />areas throughout the City <br />related cleanups throughout the City, including a two day clean-up of <br />Seaport. Thus far, almost 200 staff hours have been spent in support <br />of this initiative, and at least 250 cubic yards of trash have been <br />removed. Most recently, a one day enforced cleanup of Oddstad <br />Street was completed where all previously parked RVs were moved <br />and the streets were cleared of debris and trash. <br />Continue support for the Annual Clean-up Event <br />In progress; the City's fall 2019 clean-up event was a success, bringing <br />together 150 volunteers to help remove approximately 6,375 pounds <br />of trash.
