-- DES:djk-09/li/95 (019/41) <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12606 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF WATER SYSTEM <br /> MATERIALS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br /> DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br />notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase cf water <br />system materials to be used by the Water System Maintenance <br />division of Public Works Services for water system maintenance <br />and repairs in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication four bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Roberts and Brune Company of Redwood City, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Roberts and Brune Company of Redwood City, <br />California, in the total amount of Eighty-two 'Thousand Six <br />Hundred Nine and 03/100 Dollars ($82,609.03), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated August 8, 1995 for <br />the sale of said water system materials, which bid is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made <br />for the full particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder for the sale of said materials to the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
